Foot Pain Research Studies
Foot pain can have a debilitating effect on those who experience it. Foot pain can cause problems with walking, jogging and living daily life.
Foot pain is generally caused by two or three major problems involving the foot. Plantar Fasciitis is a very common problem of the foot. Plantar Fasciitis is a condition where the muscles(fascia) of the bottom of the foot become inflamed. This condition can be debilitating and painful. One of the root causes of Plantar Fasciitis is the use of poor quality footwear. Sandals and other footwear that do not provide support can cause the condition known as Plantar Fasciitis. Bone spurs on the heel or heel spurs can be even more painful and equally debilitating. A heel spur is a protrusion of bone that grows on the bottom side of the heal making it very painful to walk.
Clinical trials to determine causes of foot pain as well as treatments are being offered by research groups that can compensate individuals for their participation.
